Fund Your Idea – Crown Proposals

Crown uses a governance system called the Crown Distributed Governance Proposal (CDGP) to make changes to the network. CDGP is a very effective way to fund development of the platform by the community. Through one can easily generate a proposal hash to be submitted directly into the wallet. An easy comprehensive guide for proposal submissions can be found here:

Decisions are made by Tron operators casting their votes of yes, no, or abstain on any proposal submitted to the network through the wallet.  The CDGP system allows anyone with improvement ideas to pitch their idea to the community for project funding. Funding can be for anything. If the community supports your idea and votes for it, you can get funding for it. This well-defined decentralized system of governance allows the network to be flexible, endure and survive its original creators. Later generations of Tron operators will have a clear way to support the system that is defined by the protocol, thus applying the wisdom of the crowd and the bond of trust established by the Tron collateral to create a decentralized management system.

Crown uses 10% of the block reward to fund this system. Every time a block is mined 45% of the reward goes to the miner, 45% goes to a Tron, and the remaining 10% goes to any proposal that is approved by the voters at the end of the month. This creates incredible value within the community and allows us to be more agile, and compete with other payment systems like Bitcoin and fiat on a global scale.
